Alfresco Connector
for Jira
Alfresco Connector for Jira is an application that connects Jira, which is used by many companies for process management, task management, and project management, with Alfresco, an enterprise content management (ECM) system that supports CMIS. Jira is an application that works with Alfresco, a CMIS-compliant enterprise content management (ECM) system.
It can be used with the Atlassian server version of Jira.
By integrating Alfresco's powerful Content Management Function with the project management tool Jira, process management and content management are combined, allowing you to manage who created a document, in which project, and in which phase (or WBS) it was created. This is a great way to manage the documents created by whom, in which project, and in which phase (or WBS).
Content registered with Alfresco connector fo Jira can be "thumbnailed" and "animated" on the Jira screen, and files such as Excel and Word can be previewed without having to launch Office software.

Files saved from Alfresco Connector for Jira are stored in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Jira issues (tickets) and files are treated as links. This allows the same file to be linked to multiple Jira issues (tickets) and to be used with another Atlassian product, Confluence (*.1), another Atlassian product.
