What is Alfresco Connector for Confluence?
Alfresco Connector for Confluence is an add-on that integrates Alfresco's CMIS-compliant enterprise content management (ECM) with Confluence, a highly functional corporate wiki and information sharing tool that has been adopted by many companies. It is an add-on that works with Alfresco, a CMIS-compliant enterprise content management (ECM) system.
Combined with Alfresco's powerful content management functionality, process management and content management are integrated, allowing you to manage who created a document, in which project, and in which phase (or WBS) it was created.
Content registered with Alfresco Connector for Confluence can be displayed as thumbnails and videos on the Confluence screen, and can be previewed without launching Office software or Adobe files, such as Excel and Word files. You can also preview Excel, Word, and other files without launching Office software or Adobe files.

Main Features
File Viewing
You can view a list of files uploaded to Alfresco directly from the page you are viewing.
The following operations can be performed.
- Upload a file
- Display a thumbnail of the file
- Display a preview of the file
- Download a file
- Delete a file
- Linking and unlinking files
- Viewing version history
- Creating a folder (cannot be operated from the list of linked files)
- Deleting a folder (cannot be operated from the list of linked files)
File preview display
Files linked to a page can be previewed immediately from the Alfresco Linked Files screen, the Search Results screen, or the Alfresco File Macros.
The following operations can be performed in the preview dialog.
- Search in File
- Page navigation
- Zoom in and out
- Full screen display
- Download
- Go to first or last page
- Rotate
- Select
Display file thumbnails
The file list can display thumbnails along with information such as file name and creation date.
File deletions
Files that exist in the Alfresco repository can be deleted from Confluence.
Version Management
You can manage the change history of linked files.
The following operations can be performed in the Version History dialog.

Embed Alfresco files in Confluence pages
1. Alfresco Document Macro
The Alfresco document macro allows you to embed Alfresco files in Confluence pages.
2. Alfresco Document List Macro
The Alfresco Document List macro can be used to embed the Alfresco File Browser in Confluence pages.
Searching for Files
Alfresco files can be searched from the Confluence search screen.
The search is performed word by word by specified keywords, either by file name or by strings contained in the file.
Folder Mapping
For each Confluenoce space, you can set which Alfresco folder to use.
